1. Establish an Asia-Pacific benchmark for the rights and benefits of veterans and the
victims of war:
a. Collect data on the rights and benefits of Veterans in SCAP.
b. Collate and establish draft benchmark for members' review and endorsement.
2. Promote the welbeing of women veterans:
a. improve connectivity amongst SCAP women veterans.
b. Promote the transfer of skills within SCAP member countries (in particular early
childhood education, computer literacy, healthy lifestyle, workplace and enterprise
skills).
c. Generate awareness and mutual sharing of women issues in each SCAP member
countries.
3. Foster friendship, understanding and trust between former belligerents of war:
a. North and South Korea
b. ROC on Taiwan and China
c. India and Pakistan/India and Bangladesh
4. Strengthen information exchange between regional members:
a. Assist members to set-up website for their veteran organisation
b. Connect the members websites onto SCAP Portal.
